The extinct volcano called the red mountain in Playa Blanca looks an awesome sight , towering above the sea.

As volcano walks go, this is probably one of the more accessible ones. On the other hand, don't try it without wearing decent closed-toe shoes or if you have any injuries, since it is still a bit of a slog.

Hello. Yes that is the right location. It's a lovely walk. Fairly steep to start but well worth it. Views from the top are breathtaking. We took a picnic. From there the sunsets are amazing too. Hope you enjoyed it.
