Quite a walk from the town but not too difficult a climb. It was very windy and would need a jacket if the sun and isn't out. Good walking shoes a must and uneven and unstable path. Great views from the top.

Saturday market was quite big and plenty of eateries to satisfy anyone. A wander round the yachts is nice and a cooling drink overlooking the marina is just the ticket.

Head towards the water park and then it is a climb up through the housing estates. It is quite rocky in places and steep so wear sensible footwear, also worth taking a hoodie as it is very windy, especially if you burn easily as you can cover up. I did my walk up there when it was a cloudy morning... More

Walked from Playa Blanca which to the base of the walk is about 20 minutes. You can just follow the roads with the odd scattered signs or walk up the the storm drain areas. Wear reasonable footwear. Do not wear saddles or flip flops. Take a drink and if it's windy you might want to take a light jacket. And... More

Entirely the wrong photo for a walk up this extinct volcano. There used to be signs to the start but they have gone. You can see the path from the main town so head out and find the path. Good views from the top but spoilt by quite a lot of litter

Its easy to see the path to the top as you walk towards the volcano and as you get closer there are written signs which lead you through the housing and on to the path. Make sure you wear sensible footwear with a good grip as the path is gravel in places and we saw one or two people slip.... More

Steep climb but so worth the effort.most reasonably fit people could do this walk. Very elderly couple with walking sticks managed it.

This extinct volcano peak is only 200m high and it's an easy walk to the top. The views over Playa Blanca( mainly Faro Park area) are great.

This was a great hike up the side of a volcano, with stunning views from the top. Make sure you familiarise yourself with the location of the path, as not following the trodden route makes for a tough trek! The route is easy to follow and there is a path right around the top of the crater, and even down... More

Nice walk up this extinct volcano. About 40 minutes up from the bottom. Just look for the stone with the "vulcan roja" written on it on the main road, and head upwards. A bit undefined at the bottom but you can see where the path is going, so no problem. Well defined path all the way up, and around the... More
