Go on market day (wednesday) lots of hustle and bustle plus bargains to be had. Take something to feed the fish, kids were amazed by how many there were.

Been around the marina on many occasions. Staying in a villa very close this time. Lots of restaurants and bars. Nice place to stroll around as well.

Lovely harbour with great designer shopping. We’d walked along the sea front to the marina. The market on Saturday is a must. Bright and bustling. Some great little harbourside restaurants too.

Well worth a visit if nearby to see the marina, boats, fish, bars and shops, an easy walk from either direction depending on where you are staying

Very chic area , perfect for strolling, shopping , people watching or dreaming of sailing one of the fabulous boats moored there. They hold a market there on a Wednesday and a Saturday. Which has stalls selling things you would actually like to buy rather...More

Yes, agree with last comment. There is a nice hotel near Puerto Calero, the Hesperia. Its about a 10 minute walk to the Marina and in the other direction to Playa Quemada, a little village with lots of seafood restaurants

No. The Sol hotel is closer to puerto del carmen. It’s too far to walk from there.
