We walked the Camino de Santiago coastal route along this beach. Gorgeous coastline with easy-to-walk boardwalk for many miles.

We visited the church, feel in love with the monument to the lost fishermen and then needed to dip our toes in the water of the beach. Glad we went early. We actually did things in reverse and dipped our toes in first. Good call....More

The beach is huge and clean, providing ample space for everybody. There was little wind when we went, although it is a large beach so may have been a still day. Regardless, a great place, though the water is a bit cold!

Even though it was in August! Amazing to smell the ocean and feel the water and the sand. Maybe because it’s cooler, it wasn’t very busy. Perfect place for a stroll before dinner nearby.

A nice beach to visit if you are nearby. Great for surfing beginners as far as I saw. Even in middle of summer it can get foggy and cold in the morning.

Not a whole lot of things to do, eat or drink along the beach or ocean avenue. The view is partly on the industrail harbour and utilities, which is not too interesting.
