Amazing

Very lovely beach and restaurants to chose from. The sand is smooth and lovely to walk in. The length and breadth is also lovely.

Lovely walk along the boardwalk past all the restaurants. Up the steps to a nice street full of shops, bars and restaurants. Find a 'Pastellaria' and try the Pastel Nata (Portuguese custard tarts). They are to die for!

Typical resort.Lovely beach.Quite strategic if you want to get out and about with hire car During Carnival time quite lively, but out of season could be a bit too quiet for "partygoers",however ,nice for short break for us crinklies. Looks as though it could be crackers in peak season.

Took a walk along the pier where their were lots of people fishing, massive sandy beach and a harbor near by, you can climb up some steps on top of a building to get great views, parking was free at the time we went.

On one side long sandy beaches and on the other side " the rocha" landscape high rock sculptures beaches. Take your peak. Depending of the age of your kids go west of the belvedere with younger children because flat sandy beach or go east with teenagers because more challenging. In any case stop at "Cloque AoMar" for a drink and... More

Beautiful beach to stroll along. Lots of bars and restaurants. Good road links. Portimao and the marina were great places to walk around as well.
