Lots of coaches to see but since the man has to open and shut each barn, he kind of hurries you along which is not the most pleasant. Nevertheless, it was worth the visit.

This museum has approximately 70 horse-drawn carriages of different types on display, a few of a more "regal" nature but most of them of common day-to-day use.

The place is more interesting to expose "coches" than a museum because they are in the stables. The collection is large, well cared for and has pieces that do not exist in the Museu dos coches in Lisbon

Coaches, laundaus, calleches and all sorts of horse drawn vehicles in perfect condition, despite the age, from 100 to ...400 years old. Amazing display in a very special place.

This visit was a good surprise, I and my wife weren´t expecting to enjoy it so much. There many different types of cars, each associated to an event, costume or story. The guide explained everything very well.

As with the tour of the palace there are no English speaking tour guides available but there is an excellent range of carriages to view but a translator would make the visit excellent. As this is a tourist attraction
