Siamo arrivati al paese percorrendo una strada non asfaltata in mezzo alla spettacolare campagna toscana pensando che il navigatore fosse andato in tilt. .. abbiamo scoperto solo dopo che le strade che conduco a vagliagli sono così ( tranne 1 che è asfaltata ma non l'abbiamo mai percorsa)... Si apre un mondo incantato che ti riporta indietro nel tempo... Unico centro nevralgico dell abitato un circolo sportivo che fa da bar ed è il ritrovo degli abitanti del piccolo Borgo. Un negozio di alimentari e un meraviglioso ristorante che meriterebbe di essere segnalato sulla guida Michelin ( magari lo è ma non ho approfondito io). Ci ritornerò prima o poi... incantevole nella sua semplicità !

Siamo passati da questo borgo per una breve visita durante una giornata dedicata ai dintorni di Siena. Antico e suggestivo, è del XIII secolo ed è situato al centro di una conca dalla quale si gode una splendida vista. E' una delle località più frequentate dai turisti chiantigiani per la bellezza del borgo stesso e per la magnifica posizione paesaggistica. Vagliagli significa letteralmente valle degli agli, e proprio l'aglio selvatico appare anche nello stemma del paese.

very relaxing image. it seems to go back to the Middle Ages with its farmhouses.
I certainly hope to pass through those parts again even if it's not in the town centre. I'll find it again anyway.....

Tra le magnifche colline del Chianti, circondato da vigneti, si trova questo piccolo e suggestivo borgo. Un centro storico tutto in pietra e quasi intatto, che si irradia dalla piazza centrale in tanti piccoli vicoli con un unico comune denominatore: cura estrema e scorci mozzafiato!! Ogni angolo ha un fascino particolare, tutto avvolto nella tranqullitĂ e nel silenzio, un luogo veramente unico per ricaricarsi!! Da visitare assolutamente, da non perdere!!!!

Un altro dei piccolissimi borghi caratteristici della zona dove sembra che il tempo si sia fermato. Tra le sue case si fanno notare resti antichi come una chiesa di origine romanica. Caratteristico, noto al turismo e ricco di eventi in estate

Centro incastonato nelle bellissime colline che contornano Siena fa riflettere per la bellezza dei luoghi che creano in una serie di splendide combinazioni un territorio unico. Visitate il piccolo centro, le campagne circostanti e concedetevi una sosta nei buoni ristoranti del circondario.
