Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This port creates a beautiful scenario because it has white Stone all over the city wall, the water is clear and Blue, the boats attract people to buy fish and there are art paintings on the path. Walk in this place is cool in anytime of the day, on sunny days pictures Will be the best thing do everywhere inside and outside the city. Good place to visit.

Short walking, half day, pictures in the oldtown, cafe, seafood restorants, okay for a half day. Must be known, that all the restaurants are closed between 14-17h, if you would like to eat, it is impossible.

You miss the entrance if you look the wrong way at the wrong moment. But once you go through the little gateway, a truly big surprise is waiting for you...

A beautifully picturesque old port where you can see the local fishermen unloading their daily catch. Sadly we couldn’t stay until the evening to take in the sunset and taste the fish in the local eateries.

This is a nice harbor for small boats. Unfortunately, there are guitarists who try to solicit donations for poorly played parts of songs. A quick walk out through the gate is an absolute must.

Porto Antico in Monopoli is imo the most picturesque and tranquil place in Monopoli.
It's set in the middle of old town, entering through a small arch - a small and calm bay with fishermen and their blue boats. Grab a sandwich and drink at Gustavo's around the corner and have your meal here soaking up the beauty.

It's hard to think of a better place to take a photo. Even before I visited this place, I feel like I've seen paintings and prints of this corner of Italy.

Porto Antico (Old Port) is quite the spectacle what with the red and blue boats (gonzo), the white-washed buildings with their intricately shaped balconies, the weather-beaten fisherman and the sense of serenity. It could take you minutes to view all this but to really appreciate it, you need to spend some time enjoying, relaxing and taking it all in.

The Porto Antico is the old port of Monopoli and you will find lots of gozzi (fishing boats) here in a wonderful scenery , framed by the old city wall.
A must see in Monopoli.

Plenty of seating possibility where tourists and locals can take some rest in the shade. If you do not take a picture here, your camera must be broken!
