Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Wow what a place! Utterly stunning, sandy beach, beds not piled too close together, crystal clear waters and very friendly staff! Brilliant facilities and nice clean showers and toilets. Food drinks and snacks very cheaply priced.

The beds are charged at different price points, more expensive the closer to the sea. We sat row 7 for 60euros and it was perfect.

The food at the restaurant was exceptional. Most amazing pasta dishes of the day- thank you to Chef Capozzi Maria and the delicious dishes he made for us.

All the reviews that complain about the price, about it not being anything special, I’m not sure what you expected! If you want something cheaper then head to the other tiny stony beaches where the umbrellas are very cramped together. If you do your research you can find the prices, and a booking system online. Or turn up and speak to the staff who will explain the different packages.

As a family of 5 we where asked to pay 160€ for entrance, two umbrellas and three sun beds, we refused as this seems out of proportions to anything I have seen before.
On the same road nearby we found a place offering two umbrellas and four sun beds at 80€

Incredibile place, great sea, with sun umbrella distant enough to feel alone on the beach. The food is outstanding thanks to the dedication of Chef Mario Capozzu. Super fresh and Super Tasty! Highly recommended to stay here and have a great lunch

The worst beach experience ever. Also worst customer service. Don’t go there unless you want your day at the beach to be very expensive for no apparent reason and to be laughed about by the manager and staff.

One of the most horrible beach experiences. Very rude staff. We paid extremely much for the sunbed and it gave us separate places, we being a family. The staff laughed at us and spoke ill of us when we tried to tell them we wanted to change our sunbeds. They didn't want to give us the money back so we could leave. Bad service at the bar, they messed up the orders. I do not recommend such a place to anyone.

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We regret that you did not perceive the sense of hospitality and kindness of our staff, always appreciated by our guests. I am surprised to read that our staff even laughed at the situation, but I will certainly investigate the matter for which we apologize. Our team of Lido Santo Stefano would be still glad to welcome you and your family again. Best regards,

Nice location, no music (which I liked) but super expensive and not worth the cost - we paid 5 euros for parking, 20 euros just to get in (10/person) and another 30 (!) for two sunbeds and a parasol! I would have no problem with the cost if the services were worth it but they are not. There was no toilet paper in the ladies’ bathroom, the sunbeds were extremely close to each other and they serve absolutely no food or snacks until after 1pm.
Definitely do NOT recommend going there.

This beach charges a small fortune. Even though the first two rows were all empty beds, they insisted that we sit at the back, as far away from the beach/sea as possible. We notice that the front beds remained half empty all day. Think its shameful and it should be first come first served. You can't tellme people are paying for those sun loungers and not using them!

Lido di Santo Stefano is a lovely beach. The water is gorgeous and clean, the facilities are nice, and it felt so safe that we had no problems leaving our stuff while we went in the water. It doesn't come cheap though! We paid €5 for parking, €10 each for entrance, and another €10 for an umbrella. Worth it for a lovely afternoon since we didn't know but I don't think that I would be willing to pay it again.
