I was nicely surprised how well was modern and old architecture connected in the castle's interior and all this with the iron casting exhibition. We originally didn't plan to visit it as we didn't have too much time, but were happy that we changed our...More

The Sayn history is pretty much related to the Krupp empire. Consequently a lot of the history of the 20th century is connected to this place. The Sayn Family has been taking advantage of this and other history to bring people into Schloss Sayn and...More

A well kept nature park that houses the Schloss and the Butterfly Park! Butterfly Park is highly maintained, cozy with hundreds of different butterflies from all-over the world in a tropical set up. Nice warm temperatures inside the butterfly house was a nice welcome from...More

Schloss Sayn is a really nice place to spend a good Sunday afternoon. After visiting Schloss Sayn you can walk over to the butterfly park which is right next to Schloss Sayn.

It's near Bendorf Sayn Scmitterling Garten, just a walk away. Love the exhibits though there's nothing much special. The staff in the resto offers great service, very clean and surprising toilet. A must do when you happen to be here!

The history of this castle (like most) is interesting, and it was nice to have a personal touch of prince and princess come and greet visitors. The interior is worth a quick look but it didn't retain our attention a lot (you can get castelled...More
