This was a visit on a sunny day. The graves were in wonderful condition and the flowers well kept. It was so sad to see the ages of the fallen, mostly very young men.

To see both Scottish and French soldiers buried nearly side by side is moving. The cemetary is well maintained and located in a very quiet spot.

Tucked away in St Valery en-caux is the cemetery of all those who fell in WWII especially during the last frantic days during the Dunkirk evacuation. Others have no doubt stated the history of the place but the location is tranquil and moving and worth...More
