Located at the highest point on Silvretta High Alpine Road, this water reservoir is quite beautiful, large and an ideal base for hiking. The water is entering the dam from three points including a waterfall and to have seen them all you have to walk...More

Great views, walking and hiking. Go early before the crowds show up. You have to pay but worth every penny. 35+ switchbacks.

Second time for my husband-needed to show me! Loved the grazing cows with their bells. Great access for hiking.

Arriving after a never ending "snaking" road we reached the Silvretta Lake - altitude training ground for many european sportsmen. Stunning views and even better descent into the Tyrol. The Paznauntal is gentle and peaceful. Do stop off at the small BArock Church in Galtuer
