The moat survived, but there isn't much left of Kuwana's castle. It is pretty quiet around the park.

We enjoyed our visit to Kyuka Park. The grounds were beautifully kept including a moat around the castle remains. There was a playground and picnic tables to have lunch.

I visited there at the end of March 2015, regret that there was no cherry blossom at that moment. I can imagine how wonderful if I take a boat trip during the cherry blossom season.

A small park with little stalls of food,footbridges,and wonderful cherry blossoms in April, in a water setting.Thirty minutes there is ample time to see it all.Would not make a special trip there unless you are in the area.More of an attraction for the locals really.Easy...More
