A must visit as the scenery is stunning. Plan to spend at least 2 hours in this location. Best if you can stay around the area as the timing of the tourist bus may not be as convenient.

You must go here. It is a short walk in a circle but you are feeling as if nature made the place. Interesting shops in the area too

Easy access from Yamanaka-onsen, calm and fresh air! Beautiful bridges and cafe on the river is a great place in summer. 山中温泉ってこんなに素敵なところがあったんですね。渓流沿いに約1時間の散策はとてもさわやかです。

This was a great way to spend some peaceful time in the Kanga area. Nice place to escape the crowds. The moss and trees are really beautiful.

This was a terrific walk along the river and enjoyed the bridge views. We took the local bus to the river gorge from the hotel which was easy. After completing the walk we stopped and had a cup of tea at the many local cafes
