This is the main temple of Gokarna. We were allowed to touch the atmalinga and take the blessings. Didnt take much time too, around 10 mins as the crowd as less. The temple is very near to Main beach and cars can be parked there. Must visit place in Gokarna.

It is a small and decent temple. The priests create trouble by asking for donations and poojas, apart from that it is peaceful.

Inside the temple, there were dry flowers in the main garbha gudi where the atma linga is placed and the place smelled unpleasant. priests rush to you and in a way stress on "dakshinas"...all this was so obvious. Dint feel the devotional peace at all when compared... More
