We are lucky to live within an hour striking distance of some of the natural areas of beauty like the Bruce Trail and the Georgian Bluffs. Love Canada's 150 last year when a lot of these areas were free. Continued the tradition this year. We...More

We came across this trail section by coincidence exploring the back roads north of Lions Head. The name is very intriguing. The trail segment to reach the monument is very short and is well maintained. And what is the Devils monument?...

I first did this hike to see Devil’s monument about 35 years ago as a child and today I took my own children, now young teens, to experience it and it was just as I remembered! Nice walk through the woods to get to the...More

A must-see geological sea stack. We accessed Devil's Monument from the south using the Borchardt Road. Ample parking and the trail to the Monument is excellent, but not really suitable for a stroller. The trail to the beach is not especially difficult, but there is...More

Worth the walk in, steep stairs down to a rough hiking trail. Someone with mobility issues would find this a challenge. There is a bench to sit on at the top of the lookout before you start the decent down.

We love going to Devil's Monument any time of the year. The stream coming out of the rocks is breathtaking. The views along the trail are gorgeous.

We have family staying at the nearby Cape Chin B&B's Cabins. We joined them for a winter hike from the Cabin right to Devil's Monument. Amazing winter views with the snowflurries an added bonus. A couple of lookouts along the escarpment gave impressive views over...More

Discovered this attraction, while was reviewing Tripadvisor regarding Lion's Head attractions. It's free, hike is short and easy to the monument. Getting to the beach is more difficult and hands must be used to get down. Beach is beautiful, very clean and colorful water and...More

Nice & easy hike down to the lookout, but if you're wanting to go down further to the water area it is very steep, and requires hiking boots for sure. Nice scenic area though & not busy at all, one of the nicer, less tourist-y...More
