To the fine people of Stratford who came up with this idea and then engineered it. Phooey on the complainers. It was a great little scheme to enrich their town's tourist image and it was executed with no little degree of skill by Kiwis themselves....More

We planned to get to Stratford for the 10am playing of the Stratford clock tower. As commented by many before difficult to hear Romeo and Juliet say their immortal lines because of the traffic. Best place to stand is across the road by the crossing...More

After having this attraction built up by family (obviously having me on), I was bemused, disappointed. It's hardly an "attraction" with it's piped dialogue and music, with doors flapping open with dummies appearing at the windows. It is pretty lame actually.

Quite a romantic experience. Be sure to come at the right time if you are a pass by, because you don't want to miss out the performance - Romeo and Juliet

Try to make time to hear the chimes in this clock tower located most convenient to a public toilet and THE information centre.

Don't make a special trip but if you are in Stratford you cannot avoid it! The chimes play on a glockenspiel but you need to check at what times if you are desperate to experience this. There's lots of free parking nearby.
