After having passed this place a few times, we decided to stop by on the day we left Mount Tamborine. Although having to wait a while to get some service for the tasting, I would have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The drinks are unique, simply wonderful. Get the vodka if you want something strong but the best seller... More

The Tamborine Mountain Distillery was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia from the US! Michael, Sonya and The Tamborine Mountain Distillery team are the finest hosts around and provided us with insights into the North Tamborine experience, especially with tastes of the best citrus vodka and apricot brandy in the world. We will surely go back to... More

We were offered 5 tastes for $5 and were given ample choice and recommendations. We tried wattle toffee liqueur (incomparably better than Frangelica), lilly pilly gin-very nice, apricot brandy (which was as good as anything from Hungary-from one who knows!!), cofffee and whisky liqueur- we came away with three bottles. The label disigns are unique and very well done. Bottle... More

Hidden away in the beautiful hinterland, this place might be South East Queensland’s smallest Pot Still Distillery, but it is world renowned. Sharon, our host for our visit, picked out a couple of liqueurs and schnapps for us to try, including a lemon vodka which was so smooth and crisp. She then allowed us to pick a couple more flavours... More

Before going I thought it would all be whiskey and rum. I was happily surprised to find 80 different spirits and liquors. I could have spent a fortune but limited it to just a few bottles. Definitely go back to taste some more.

We dropped into the Tamborine Mountain Distillery not knowing what to expect. We found a lovely relaxed spot to taste liqueurs and other spirits. A huge range all well displayed and in lovely bottles. The lady who assisted us with our tastings was great fun and very helpful. We also met the owner who was a real character. We thoroughly... Michael and Alla are so very welcoming and friendly. There is tasting available for a $5 fee that is then taken off the cost of any purchase. They wrap the bottles very well if you let them know you're travelling. There are also plenty of knick-knacks and local crafts available for sale in the shop. The gardens and fountain are... More

The morning market was an absolute wonderful experience...full of handicrafts, local organic produce and friendly people. Anytime better than the Cararra market which is so commercialised. And I love the surroundings of the market location.
