This museum is filled with historical artifacts representing Ecuadorian history. The museum docent or manager was very intelligent and provided details for much of the artifacts. The lady was kind and provided sufficient time for my translator to provide the information to me. Very educational...More

Interesting museum to help understand Loja and Ecuador. Worth an hour while in Loja. Nice building too. And it's free to enter!

The first floor has an exhibit with some weird looking sculptures and VERY graphically sexual paintings. Other than that, the second floor is pretty awesome if you're looking for a cultural education of the area. There are a lot of artifacts and wonderful descriptions.
