We went at lunch time. We ate under a gazebo, outdoors. The place is beautiful, with the tables well separated from each other so that it is possible to chat with the group, without hearing or being overheard by the neighboring tables, as usually happens in so many places. We took the four-course menu and a children's menu. The latter could be shared since it is very abundant. Each step is accompanied by a different wine, at the right temperature. And very good! The staff, girls and sommeliers are diligent, friendly, always with a smile. One of the dishes is grilled meat that, despite the requested 5 different cooking points, each of us received without error. At the end of lunch the chef and the grill manager approached us to get our opinion. This attitude is not common and makes the diner feel that he matters.

We went for a tasting and tour today to this lovely winery. Anna and Guty were so friendly and made sure our mixed group (Americans, Brazilians and Colombian’s) all had fun. They served small tastes with the wine samples which added to the enjoyment. The tour was really interesting, provably my favorite of the 5 wineries we visited. Beautiful setting with an interesting history. Don’t miss this one!

We set up a wine tasting on the way to the airport before leaving Mendoza and it turned into one of our favorite stops. The history of this vineyard is so cool and we were grateful for the tour. Then the pairing of the wine really taught us a lot. Of course we ended up leaving with 4 bottles of wine that were carry on.

I was with a group visiting the winery for a 4 course lunch with wine tasting. The food was fresh and high quality. What a special treat being in a beautiful setting with good wine, and great service. Worth the trip out of town.

Hello!! It is my fourth time at Clos, I came as a couple, with a friend, with a couple of friends and the truth is that we always feel very well cared for. The food is always excellent. The delicious wines. The place doesn't matter, if you come in summer, spring or winter, it is always magical.
On this occasion, Macarena attended us in a charming way.
It is always recommended!!
And we will keep coming back!!

My friend and I arrived 40 minutes before they closed (at 17:20) having rung at 17:00 to say we were coming. The staff were excellent and completely welcoming despite us being very late in the day. We had Antonella for our tasting and she was absolutely lovely, really genuine. There was a good selection of wines (4 different ones) and each had a very intense flavour. There were also some nibbles (cheese, nuts, mini breadsticks) to accompany the wine! The setting was gorgeous, on a wooden terrace by a large pond. The ladies also called us a taxi when we had to leave and were so helpful the whole way through. A genuinely lovely experience.

My g/f booked this winery for the 6 course tasting menu and what a delight. Both the food and the wine were excellent. Each tasty course came with a different wine, which was topped up if we finished before the arrival of the next course. It’s a small boutique winery and although we did see a small wine tour arrive while we were there, it looked like it catered to many locals. The friendly chef came and talked us through his dishes and each wine that was paired was also explained. I wish I can remember the name of the lovely young lady that helped us and spoke excellent English but two months have passed and well.....back to real life. Lol. She was wonderful as was the rest of the staff. If you’re looking for a “corporate” style winery, then go elsewhere. This is small and personalized experience and I cannot recommend it enough. They do offer wine tours but we ended up having a lovely four hour lunch experience sitting outside on the patio and missed out. That was our call. We had done a fair share of wine tours and were happy to enjoy the patio sipping on wine. We also purchased a few bottles of wine, as well as the excellent olive oil. The price of the lunch for 2 back in July, was approximately $100 for reference.
On a separate note, my g/f had spent some time looking for a winery lunch in the Lujan de Cuya area without having to book a wine tour or driver and this winery was close enough to Mendoza that a $10 taxi ride was all it took. We called and made a reservation and the restaurant booked us a taxi back to our hotel after a great afternoon.

We visited three wineries and I think it best to cover them all here to provide a better perspective. Three wineries was adequate; the wine making process is remarkable straightforward, but of course the process of growing grapes, the variety, the soils etc. require the expert. Anyway, after three visits it gets repetitive. We toured the Bodega Familia Zuccardi, the Clos de Chacras Bodega Familia, and Carinae Vinedos and Bodega. The Zuccardi tour was extremely interesting in that the tour guide had a passion for the product and was extremely knowledgeable and had all the time in the world for us. Zuccardi tends to use the most up-to-date methods. The Clos de Chacras bodega was old-world and very charming and allowed us to see old vats from the 1800s, oak barrels and cellars. Again, the tour guide had lots to offer and was very friendly, great sense of humor and lots of time. I won’t tell you her response when I asked if she had any Coca Cola - she had a great sense of humor! We not only saw the wine-making process but also the old vats, the old cellars, and the stacks of oak barrels. Their bottles of wine have a 'lock' pictured. Ask to see the original real lock. For us the Carinae Vinedos and bodega was a waste of time, and expensive. The guide was clearly in a rush to visit with her friends who arrived a few short moments after we had signed in for the tour. In addition, the owner of the winery, a former French engineer who made a career change, was right there in the kitchen with us and he neither spoke nor even smiled. The entire tour took less than 10 mins compared to 45-60 mins in the other two wineries; perhaps on a different day it might have been better. We tacked on a short self-guided tour of LAUR Olive oil making plant which is directly opposite Carinae.

Probably the best lunch I had in Argentina...my wife had the steak and I had the lamb, and they were both awesome. The tour was great, and we bought a bunch of wine. All great.
