Yesterday I went to Hacienda Campo Rico with the intention to horse back-ride. When I get to the information area a gentleman directs me to the person in charge of the information and reservations. I walk to her she’s on the phone talking and signals me with her index finger to give her a second. That second lasted more than five minutes of me listening her talking personal things on her cell phone. I waited patiently but after 5 minutes I politely asked her if there was someone else that could take care of us witch her response was the give me a second sign with her index finger. I found it disrespectful of her and it’s a shame that people like her work in this place. A business that deals with tourists that come visit the island to have a good experience. Tourist and locals that pay money for a service and get to have this horrible customer service. On other note the hacienda is beautiful and the bar tender after hearing my complain made me a really good mojito

Tour details are misleading.
Tour is advertised as a 2 hour tour and to arrive 30 minutes prior.
Our tour was scheduled at 130. When we arrived just before 1 we completed the required paperwork and then told the tour would start at 145. We loaded up , drove to the end of the driveway and then told to return back because of the weather . We waited about 10 minutes and then headed out again around 2. We toured the property for the next 50 minutes before we were made to return back , again said it was due to weather. Then we were told the tour was over and would receive a 50% refund since the tour ended a few minutes early.. when I asked for clarification I was told the tour was supposed to end at 330. So our 2 hour tour lasted about 50 minutes and then we received a 50% refund when the details state 100 % refund. We offered to do one of their other excursions instead of a refund and were told that was not an option.

Thank you Angel for being the best of the best tour guide for my family. Highly recommended, had a awesome time! Do follow rules to be safe. The place is hidden but it is beautiful, well worth going for. Food and drinks are great. Recommend to bring glasses as dirt does go everywhere and also we recommend to eat after since there is a lot bumps. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

First time zip lining . As a 63,yr old woman, I was nervous . The guides were exceptional - very helpful and encouraging. I recommend being in good physical shape for the climbing aspect to get to the zip areas or you could really get into some distress . Thankfully I was able to make it through to the end and it was worth it!

Wear good hiking shoes , bring water and use bug spray

Hang on and enjoy the adventure. Thanks

This activity is fun! Our tour guide Alec made us feel warm & welcome. The track is HUGE! you will be going across over 1,000 acres. My only complaint is the ride is not 2hrs. we didn’t start riding until after a half hour after our scheduled time & their is a long 20minute break while your riding. Also the track wasn’t very muddy so if your expecting to get dirty go the day after it rains All in all! It was fun & a great experience

Went with the family and friends for the zip-line tour and had a blast! The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, encouraging and enthusiastic. Fernando, Jorjito, Victor, Ed and Javier were the best crew! They made sure everyone had a great time. Definitely would recommend to anyone headed to Puerto Rico!

Rode single ATVs on a rainy day. So much fun! The trails are bumpy & muddy. Our guide Jeremy was awesome! There is also a small farm with large African tortoises, peacocks, birds & chickens. Also a mansion there that has been in movies. The 2 hour tour flew by. They also offer zip line, dune buggy/ATV & horse riding. They have a bar with food. Only 20 min ride from San Juan. So glad we did this!

We zip-lined at Hacienda Campo Rico, which will be reviewed separately as it was great. Hacienda Campo Rico leases space to adventure tours. There is a large scarlet macaw onsite that is locked in a small cage. We witnessed children tormenting the macaw to the point that the macaw was hysterical. We asked an employee about how often the macaw was let out of the cage. The employee said THE MACAW HAS NEVER BEEN LET OUT OF ITS CAGE. This is an atrocity. The employee stated the owner did not want the macaw to be given any freedom. This is truly abuse. We also saw other animals on the properly that looked like they had been neglected, if not abused, including a poor young cat. I cannot believe the irresponsibility and cruelty in not letting a large macaw out of its small cage and allowing children to taunt it to the point of hysteria. We will never return to Hacienda Campo Rico.

We took a cruise and one of our stops was San Juan. We decided to do an ATV excursion, we were expecting to be riding on trails along beaches and through caves and seeing sights. Instead we loaded up on our ATV's but before that the owner made hard copies of our credit cards so that in the event of a break down he could charge us... Not a fan of that. Anyway, we loaded up and did a few circles to practice. Then we set out on our excursion. We went up some hills and through some mud, made circles around the camp. All and all pretty boring. Caves were closed and no beaches on the ranch. We did take one stretch which seemed as though we were finally heading out into the wilderness... Then after a mile turned around and came back. One person on our 10 person excursion kept having mechanical problems so we had to keep stopping and waiting. I felt pretty bad for him. Then right before it was over we traveled a trail that was partially wooded and the other side of the fence was the beautiful ghettos of Caroliná. Overall I was pretty disappointed. When we got back to the starting area we went up to the bar at the top of the hill. Not enough seating for all of the people. If your looking for a beginning experience and just cruising around, go for it, other than that. WAY TO MUCH MONEY for the experience. The two guides were great and Kinda Omar and Christian. At the end I heard the boss getting on Omar about how there was no more water left and how it was coming out of his pay... 160 per person for your crappy ride and your yelling at the only people who make it fun?? Take a course in business management buddy!
