We visited this nature reserve while on holiday nearby. We have two young girls that love flamingos.
The parking was relatively easy and roadside and all free.
The park was well kept and clean.
The flamingos could be seen from quite a distance. It was...More
Interesting area ... pink water in some ponds, blue green in others. If you are interested in water birds this is a great place with many different varieties including flamingos. Great way to spend an afternoon.
Every time we stay at the Thalassia hotel and spa we cross the road to the salinas to do our daily walks and jogging, they have paths made just for that, also there is an entrance (boardwalk) to the sea...it is a perfect area for...More
We fell across these lakes and the beautiful birds. We stopped briefly in the hire car and a had a 10 minute wander but clearly you could have a lovely one walk.
Astonishing to see the flamingoes, and wonderful views of the sea.
Just visited the area and have been blown away by the stunning landscape. The sea was calm, the beach had some seaweed on it but not to the extent of previous years!

You won’t get lost when you get to the park as it’s only one road in and out! Parking along the roadside is difficult but there are car parks dotted along. At the end of the road by the marina is a large car park from where you can walk along the long stretch of beach/peninsula. Some good restaurants in the marina - particularly enjoyed cafe Cielo.
Hope this helps!
