I'm not a big skier but Formigal was great for our family with 2 young children skiing for the first time. The scenery is very pretty. The slopes are ok. It was never crowded. The town is 5 minutes from the ski lifts and is very convenient. Restaurants in the town are not open until late at night so that... More

We've skied here a few times (12 year olds, 18 year olds and 50 year olds.) and the station has a wide variety of pistes for all levels. Perhaps more for more advanced skiers. In general the lifts work effectively and there are not huge queues. The restaurant facilities are OK. More would be good and more distributed over the... More

Great for families with young children or like myself and my husband with our 2 teenagers. We were based at the Anayet zone. Fantastic for food, drinks and viewing. Had a great time. Second visit in 3 years, highly recommended.

Worth a trip, although road to the ski resort closed one day owing to the weather. Skiers from France pop over the boarder too. Well geared lift system over a number of valleys, coupled with good organisation throughout. On a par with medium sized Tarantaise resorts, but mainly chair lifts here.

Formigal provides a great quality snow with plenty of backcountry slopes. It has a variety of diffrent levels, blue, red and black diamonts. It has a snowpark, fast chairlifts and plenty of bar/restaurant areas. The price for an adult with insurance costs 45€. Hope you enjoy this great resort.

Formigal has improved a lot in the recent years. We arrived there and found parking slot without problems. Directly in front of the parking, you have the chairlift. Enough tracks so that you always do something new. Very friendly staff both at the reception and at the ski rental place.

It is probably one of the best places for snow sports in Spain. A lot of km, large parkings, and a variety of tracks. All in a superb landscape. It gets crowded on weekends around 8-9 AM, so expect traffic jams to go up there.

Fab snow, great resort with plenty of options and great vibe to it! Will come back next year! Also, plenty of options for places where you can stop by and have a drink and a snack. Not too busy either which means you get plenty of skiing everyday!
