Some of the agents who were with me had a swim in the pools, however I've decided not to as it was a little bit chilly and windy. The pools are kept very neat and the views from the pools are amazing.

Amazing inter connected rock pools with tremendous views of open Atlantic. Outside had a hell of a swell viewed from the pool wall. Thoroughly recommend swimming here

Good pool in the lava rocks of Porto Moniz. In march often 18 degrees water temperature. Sometimes closed because of too high waves.

This is an open air pool refresh by the ocean. There is some protection from the open water, but the surf crashing in does cause waves in the lido. It depends on your point of view as to whether you consider this a benefit. The...More

Today with heavy waves the pools were closed. We sensed the splashes of ocean water rolling against the volcanic rocks of the coast - fantastic natural show. For swimming we shall come back later in the year. It is beautifully done and great to walk...More

The pools were open during our Feb stay but the facility services (cafe, rental lockers, chairs and umbrella rental) were not available this time of year. If you are comfortable just laying down a towel on the concrete pavement it's definitely an enjoyable way to...More
