Our guide for our caving tour took us here to see the awesome view of this caldera and patchwork fields. The wind was so hard on the platform! Don’t wear a hat! Amazing views and shouldn’t be missed.

So my gf and I visited on an overcast day which others may not appreciate. I actually liked having the clouds in the sky for the texture/contrast without the photos washing our from sun streaks. Note that you should follow the road signs and not use Google maps to get here (we learned the hard way the Google maps was inaccurate). It is quite a zig zag climb up narrow roads to get there. Note there is a smaller lookout point in the backside of this lookout too you pass on your way back out.…

The view from Serra do Cume is not to be missed. Even with some clouds its a spectacular view of Terceira. The day we were there is unusually windy and that made the visit even more fun.
