The church at Gropina, unlike so many cathedrals is splendid in its simplicity. The stone is magnificent - the acoustics were amazing. While there an artist was sitting quietly drawing, she was singing as she drew - we were so glad she did not hear...More

Really worth a look. A beautiful little gem with stunning architecture in a charming hamlet. For wheelchairs/buggies there is a ramp to the front door of the church, but wheelers may find it difficult to get up the angled steps to the ramp without help.
