Nice but over priced

There is a single warm pool, and a natural steam room, but many therapy treatments. Pleasant but there are little charges for everything.

Stayed in Bagni di Lucca for a few days and on a cold day we ventured here for a sauna, we had a relaxing time in the sauna located in an old cave, the further you go to into the cave the hotter it gets. Once the time was up in the sauna we were led into a beautiful old... More

On a rainy day in beautiful Lucca we decided to head for the spa nearby. It seemed rather nice in the brochures at the hotel, but we were up for a nasty surprice. I've added a few photes of the place and this is what it really looks like once you're inside. This spa cannot, by any means, be recommended... More

We found a good ofer in booking to stay here the night so we went and it was a good decision. For a reasonable price we had a fantastic room with nice views to the town and the river. An also the terme pool was included in the price. The restaurant is also good.

These pools are relaxing if you are given access to use them. I arrived with my brother and girlfriend to use the baths, and the hostess informed us that they were fully booked, sorry, with no availability at all. Not five minutes later my parents arrived, and when they asked about pools, the situation radically altered and there was availability... More

On a wet morning we had no plans so we ended up at the terme bath's in Bagni di lucca. There were 8 of us who just dropped in on spec but we got dealt with straight away, the buildings are quite old and are in the process of being restored but you could tell that there was also a lot... More

Visited the spa on a wet morning in Bagni di Lucca, and had a wonderfully relaxing time in one of the natural saunas located in a cave at the spa, followed by a relaxation session cocooned in sheets and blankets listening to gentle music and a herbal tea. Very good value at 20 Euros a head. The surroundings may not... More

We were attracted from the name and the webpage information, but were very disappointed when visited. The place is old, dirty and the staff was unprofessional and not helpful. The place needs an update, it feels like an old hospital. We were not provided with slippers and shampoo! Paid a lot of money for 2h! The lunch was cold (from... More

I'm not sure we went to the right part of town to partake in the thermal baths. We ended up at a hotel with a French name. It cost $20 Euro including a cap to sit in the thermal bath which included some jets and two waterfall like sprayers. It was like being in a swimming pool. And we didn't... More

Myself and my husband went to the terme pool to bathe in the waters but it was far from an enriching experience. We paid €16 each to get in (€4 for cap) and it was the biggest waste of money ever. The pool is small and dirty, there is scale all around the side and over the water shoots. There... More
