Great little farm!

Friendly hosts. Cheapish entry (€8 incl free feed for animals). Lovely selection of farm animals which my 4yo loved to feed esp the lively goats and beautiful horse. A simple... read more

I was here a few years ago and it broke my heart. The gerbils and other small animals were living in their own faeces. It was piled high! The ferret had no food or water and her tiny cage was a disgrace. The animals just seemed hungry and depressed and I felt so unbelievably sad walking away and leaving them... More

We arrived here one sunny Saturday in October, with high hopes for a fun family trip out. We had heard some good things about Kiltimagh Pet Farm - reading some of the reviews on Trip Advisor has left me thinking we entered a parallel universe over there, as sadly we had a very poor experience. As we drove down the... More

This was one of the most enjoyable experiences, while I was in Ireland. I loved the interaction with the animals. There was a lamb and a horse that didn't want me to leave...so cute! The person working there was very helpful and friendly. She even helped me to overcome my fear of holding snakes. I was there and got to... More

there is not enough variety and felt that they had little or no interest once they had the money. nothing to shelter if it starts to rain and certainly no activity. most of the creatures is what country children see every day and nothing unusual , to me and the children it was a very disappointing visit and certainly would... A very hands on establishment. My children absolutely adored being able to handle the wide variety of reptiles in the reptile house. And if soft and fluffy is what your after then your spoilt for choice with the large array of rabbits, ferrets, chicks and lambs to names a few! And if your feeling really confident then you can go... More

Visited the farm whilst on holiday - a family of 4 cost 32euros. Plenty of sheep and cows , 1 horse and a few donkeys. Alot of birds in not very well laid out dirty pens with lots of the pens empty.the 'reptile house'(a dirty shed with a few tanks) was probably the best out of a bad selection. Only... More

To describe this as a "wildlife park" is akin to calling my mum's old ford fiesta a Formula 1 racing car. Sure if you're stuck in this one-horse, depressing little town then it well be worth a visit if for nothing other than to save you and your kids from terminal boredom, but do not expect anything more than a...
