The beach is huge with plenty of space. The tide makes it not that good to swim from, but you can collect shells. Also the beach is very hard, not a nice sandy beach to just lie on.

The beach is huge, and has easy parking nearby. During the low tide, the sea is very very far. Clean and pleasant. After the dune level there are tables for picnicking.

Bearing in mind the history of the D-Day landings, there are local attractions but to me it all seems a little too irrevelant today unfortunately. One cannot blame the local trades and visitors for enjoying the long beach and sea for what they see today.
