I was eager to try the ayurvedic spa based on reviews here. Unfortunately, you have to book a day ahead so my cousin & I settled for the normal massage provided by the lady masseuse. It was an average experience. The place was clean enough. Go if you want to contribute to the local economy.

We tried the Shirodhara massage. The Spa is connected to the yoga floor, three tables separated by curtains and floor fans. The first 15 minutes was started off with a vigorous oil head and neck massage. The ladies hands were very powerful and she worked out our neck pains. We then moved to another table where warm oil is dribbled... More

I visited Shyamali for a leg massage after walking up Adams Peak! My legs felt so good after; really eased my calf muscles. She's v nice & a great masseur. I also returned and had a good back & neck massage. I will definitely visit her again before I leave Sri Lanka. The premises are basic but the massage was... More

Shaimeel was lovely. She gave me a full body massage and a facial massage with an herbal face pack included. I had asked if she had any herbals packs that worked on sun spots on my face, sure enough after one session ( I had two total) it was definitely lighter. She was kind enough to purchase some of the... More

I was many times in Sri Lanka for massages but Dulips were the best! We went there every day while 3 weeks!

I can't remember the staff members name (male) he was lovely and I loved my massage. He asked me what I wanted and during the massage checked in about pressure, so he was able to meet my needs. The room in big with curtain dividers, I don't find this uncomfortable but others might. He was very respectful.

Though the walk through the back garden of a home stay ending at a little cottage might make you wonder if you found the shed instead of a spa, Lanka Spa is definitely the place to be. There is a charming male masseur (with a beatiful smile) who explains the different kinds of massages they offer with a menu of... More

A lot of repetitive skin rubbing was done with rough and rushed hands. Not enough work on muscles and too much pressure on bones. Head massage was just rubbing hair against scalp. Did not find it relaxing or enjoyable. Expensive without the quality or frills. Wouldn't recommend.

Pleasant garden surroundings. Massage performed by competent practitioners. They were able to identify the areas that needed attention. I was also impressed that they used different techniques and pressures for these areas. The treatnent area is simple, the full body massage rated 9.5!
