We go there to see their latest jewellery and would recommend doing a mine tour, even do a bucket of wash so that you can find your own sapphire. Great experience.

This was our first port of call. You must do the mine tour if you are not claustrophobic. If you are tall like me expect some gravel in your hair. There is no cafe here but they have coffee and soft drinks. They have a...More

We have done a lot of travelling in our time, but haven't managed to chalk up a walk in mine. Now we arrived 10 minutes after the final tour had started and thought we wouldn't be able to join it - it wasn't advertised anywhere...More

This tour was so good! Our guide was great and was able to make it interesting for our kids as well as making it comfortable for another lady on our tour that had a phobia of being in small places. The shop has lots of...More

Visited for the mine tour, was definitely not disappointed. The tour guide (an older fellow with a beard) was so enthusiastic and passionate which clearly rubbed off on the tour group. He was very informative and obviously knew his stuff. He honestly made the entire...More

Overall for the price you pay I would be expecting a little more. The old chap with the beard was very cool and interesting. The lady was a tad abrupt. $20 for a bag of wash seemed expected.More
