Anyone visiting the Highlands without visiting this delightful museum is missing out. Behind an unprepossessing exterior lies a Museum filled with clan curiosities and photographs which tell the history of the Highlands and the clan MacPherson in particular. Came in for a look round. Nice film to begin with giving a feel for the place. Museum itself is well spread out with plenty to see. Perhaps too much to see? There was at times just too much reading. Worth spending some time there...More

Thank you for taking the time to review our museum. We look like a small museum until you walk through the doors, when you see a clever use of space triples the display area. The word Tardis definitely could be used to describe us. The...More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. You visit was enjoyed by the staff as much as yourselves. You both were definitely resplendent in your tartan. We will be more than happy to welcome you back any time you are in the area.

Thanks for taking the time to review the Museum. We are definitely a much larger Museum than the building would indicate. Clan Macpherson has a long and varied history which provides a diverse range of items, from personal pieces to militaria. We hope that your...More

We found the team very chatty and helpful when we arrived and left us to wander around and examine hundreds of items to illustrate many centuries of Scottish clan history. Will interest even non Macphersons like us!

All round great fun. The kids loved the dressing up box which left us to really get to grips with the fascinating displays. We didn't quite have time to finish so will definitely need to go again.
