This was a highlight as the walks and paths were wonderful here. Added bonus of seeing Peregrine Falcons that were nesting across the valley.

Tried to find this location, Unfortunately upon following the signs we were lead to a caravan site. We then tried to go for a walk along a designated footpath which was very overgrown so we gave up

Goodrich Castle is 3.1 miles away from Symonds Yat and 4.7 miles from Ross, id that's the castle you meant. It is well worth a visit. We went when we were staying in the area earlier in the year, and had a most enjoyable... More
