We accessed this beach through Praia de Alvor. It was crowded, which is normal for August. But the water was a delight as there were hardly any waves. Picturesque and postcard worthy views.

Sand and rock formations give this beach an interesting feature. It's located at the east end of Praia de Alvor and you can walk through the rock formations from one beach to the other. Beach vendors will sell you various food and drinks.

We went to this beach because is not far from Lagos (30 min drive) and it's amazing. It's crowded but it's big enough to enjoy it.

Great beach easily accessible sometimes there can be a few waves. With the new boardwalk you have a great long walk from Praia dos tres irmaos and Praia de alvor. Beautiful in evening or early morning.

Yes, there are always taxis floating about by the beach or at the bottom of town. It’s only a few minutes to town from the beach anyway and the boardwalk makes it really accessible.
