Stunning views from the top. We were on a cruise and took a tour, 11 hairpin bends to get to the top, if you suffer travel sickness take precautions! Well worth the journey.

Once in a lifetime experience, a fantastic view, deep long fjord and steep and tall mountains. Maybe too many tourist visiting in the peek season.

The fjord sightseeing cruise is very nice with a lot of stories about the place, fjord and farms. The waterfalls are wonderful and the view of the fjord can be gorgeous if the weather is good.

If your arrival coincides with cruise ships docked - I would say yes, book ahead. We were on a cruise ship and booked on our own at half the cost. The same company is used by the cruise ships and they are the major Or maybe... More
