The history of the GDR or East Germany is very interesting,this place shows you also the time bevor and after the wall was down. Very good conservated and or restaurated exponents, very clean. You have also the possibility to see the open motors and play with a learning effect. It is worth to visit

I was not looking to see an auto museum when I visited Suhl. I was there to visit the gun museum, but bought the combi-tour as my son was with me. It is a small museum, but had very nice cars and motorcycles. It is clean and the staff are friendly. Would recommend it to anyone that has some extra time to visit.

Very interesting exhibition of excellent exhibits, mostly from the Simson company. There are also rare Simson cars, prototypes that were never allowed to go into series production and historical rarities from other manufacturers.
