The Rosstrappe is a beautiful location and viewpoint with a fascinating fairytale story to it. Walking to the viewpoint is easy in trainers.

Ride up with the lift offers a beautiful view and short 15-minute hike will bring you to the famous hoof-imprint and the view over to the Hexentanzplatz and down to the river. Much more beautiful and less crowded than the Hexentanzplatz.

Been wanting to visit this place for years but never had the opportunity. Now managed to achieve a visit. Well worth the effort and the views. Either visit by cable car or park car at the top and visit Rosstrappe that way. Not suitable for...More

A lovely short walk from the hotel, with fantastic views over the Bodetal valley. Very rough terrain so not accessible for wheelchairs but well-protected by steel railings.
