This is a great place to visit, and the museums are wonderful. Explore the ruins, climb the turret, eat at the restaurant, enjoy the fantastic views. A great visit anytime but even more special if you go for one of the medieval markets!

Excellent visit with kids. Gorgeous sights. Had a picnic in the premises, but you can also opt for the restaurant.

We had fun exploring this castle with our 3 small kids and 2 dogs. There are also restrooms and places to eat.

This was an interesting place to visit. The weather was foggy and snowy, but it was still beautiful. I'm glad we wore sturdy shoes since it was slippery.

This castle has been in my life since I was born. Family trips, school trips, taking visitors or just go there and enjoy the view. It's always fun to visit Burg Lichtenberg or Kusel castle like many Americans like to call it.

Thankfully, they do not have all the safety barriers everywhere to wander around. However, this means that you have to keep a close eye on your kids.

My favorite go-to castle to get out of the house and be with nature. It has a nice playground, the price is great--free! And it has an excellent restaurant with seasonal dishes.... always wonderful soups! In beautiful countryside!

Nice that you can walk around and explore the ruins without having to pay a fee. We climbed to the top of the tower and took lots of pictures of the fantastic views! There's also a musical instrument museum on the grounds but it was...More

Hello Dean, I use Telekom, but another popular one is Vodaphone. Hope that helps. Enjoy the weakened Euro and come see Europe! Take care.
