A rather pleasing preserved railway which runs most days of the year for tourists visiting the island of Ruegen off Germany's north-east coast. Rolling stock is surprisingly spacious and you are free to stand or take photos from the open coach ends as you please....More

I'm sorry. I am a crazed steam buff. I heard poop poop and had to track it down. It smells of sulphur. But its only a 2' 6" gauge. Absolutely marvellous. Do it again? If say so.

For all small and big boys who are and remained old-steam-trains-lovers it's a must and great experience to discover the Rasende Roland, and get the experience of a ride with it.

Fantastic experience ! Göhren-Baabe-Sellin-Binz-Putbus - these are the points where you can take the little nice steam train that transports you back to the past. Inside the compartiments it has coal stoves, piece of art history. It is very interesting and worth it, specially for...More

It's a nice and fun trip to do, especially when autumn is on its best. Lovely surroundings and beautiful scenery. The train compartments are well maintained and gives you a good impression of the early days.
