I went to Heringsdorf with my wife and our kid. The area has a sore beautiful sandy beach and a very nice pier. Since a steady wind was blowing, I can only recommend the hiring of a so-called beach chair or "Sandkorb". We were very...More

This incredibly well-used promenade (by walkers and bicycles but no cars) sits beautifully between the beach on the Baltic Sea and three beautiful towns on the German Island of Usedom. People stroll hand-in-hand or with their dogs and admire the opulent villas overlooking the water....More

The beaches on this island are beautiful. They can be a bit crowded during the season, but a walk towards the border with Poland will help. Lots of dunes and lovely (almost) white sand.

Nice, sandy beach. Take the walk over the beach from Bansin via Heringsdorf to Ahlbeck! A train is running over land and on nice days a boot trip can be taken also.
