The ride from stoney point to cow's and return , great. Our problem was there was no parking for people with a disabilities. The ticket office staff said they had no idea of where we could park. A bad start to the day. Their is 2 disabled parking spots past the boat launching area but a couple of signs say no vehicles without trailers can park here. Great journey that could be improved. If you're a bus no problems with special parking.

Thank you 904garryc for the feedback. Firstly, we are glad you enjoyed the ferry experience and crossing to Cowes and return. Our team do a great job. We are sorry for your experience with lack of disabled parking. It is an issue and has been raised with the correct authorities who look after the parking in general. Of course in very peak travel periods like when you travelled it is even more tricky. We continue to raise this issue so are customers can be accommodated. We hope you try our service again in the future. Warm regards, Leanne

Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Westernport Ferries and inparticular to "Captain Anthony" for the time that you took to explain the running of the ferry including your generous acceptance to have a photo with our grandchilden. We wanted you to know not only what a fantastic first time experience it was for them but how thrilled they were and how special the whole adventure was. Ken and Bernadette.

lovely boat ride with friendly staff. people with bikes a bit of a pain pushing through pedestrians. they should load the bikes last. my only complaint is the toilets were locked and staff reluctant to unlock. this is not good and should be rectified. If there was an urgent call it would be too late !

Thank you Gaye L for your review and we are glad you enjoyed the boat ride. In regards to your feedback about the toilets, toilets are only locked when engaged (in use by passengers). I am sure you can appreciate why our staff would be reluctant to unlock the toilet door. We do hope to see you onboard again soon. Warmest regards, Leanne

The ferry took off a minute before scheduled departure time, they had seen us approaching but departed anyway. So much for local tourism, French island you missed out💰💰 because of some impatient so called captain. Check the cameras if you don’t believe us.

Thank you Mygov for your feedback. We did check with the Master on the day and he unfortunately did not see any passengers on the pier or approaching the ferry. We try our best to accommodate any passengers we see approaching the ferry or running late. We apologise for any inconvenience. Regards, Leanne

Our return trip to Phillip Island was smooth sailing, barely knew we were on water. The staff were friendly and the ferry was on time. We brought our bikes onboard as we rode them around the island and the staff were accommodating. No complaints.

Thank you for the great review worldtravllers1995. The crew do a great job and hopping across to French Iland or Phillip Island is only a 15 minute ferry ride, perfect for taking your bikes and getting around either island. Hope to see you saling again soon. Warm regards, Leanne

We traveled on the 10th of January from Stony Point to French Island and then on to Philip Island and back. It was a little bit rocky but nothing compared to the return trip after the cool change kicked in! Chatting to the cabin crew ( I can't remember her name but she had a lovely big smile and came from Coronet Bay!) she said that we may be delayed if it got a bit rough. We sat in the bar of the Isle of Wight watching the ferry come in and flipping heck it was getting thrown around! Just like spotlighting in the back of the ute I found it easier to stand. Our smiley mate was very good with the queasy people and moved around like we were on dry land, the old sea dog! I've not been on many boats but I was impressed with the way that one was handled.

Great trip across the water. Can visit French Island or Phillip Island. Able to take our dog which was a bonus. Only took just over half an hour. Bar on board for those so inclined. The captain let all the kids upstairs to go in with him to help drive the boat. Some even got to sit in his seat.
