This place was pretty neat for the subject of granite. There is not much in English, but the little German I knew was enough to get by. The presentation is quite professional and not something you would be used to seeing from a small town like Hauzenberg. If they could get an audioguide in English that would be awesome and... More

It's surprising just how interesting a visit to the granite museum can be. The architecture and situation of the building alongside a flooded quarry was striking in itself. And be sure to visit the loos with beautiful granite water feature sinks. The gift shop has an impressive selection of stone jewellery and across the street is another shop with sculptures... More

We saw the musee, thinking it would be rather a long day, but it actually turned out to have a couple of nice introduction videos, so that everybody could follow the storry A must see for the people who want a slice of the history in the area
