Huge place but the sourcing sun will kill your visit. The wine tours only occur at selected times only at 300 baht for 2 glasses of wine for testing, for me it can be so much better. Not a huge fan but this is subjective .... Go for the view if you like that.

Lovely tour by bus with knowledgeable English speaking guide. Three free tastes at the conclusion of the tour. The tour costs something nominal and is worth it. You can purchase wines at the shop or have a flight and snacks or a meal at the Great Hornbilled Restaurant on site. Excellent African Chicken there.

... made me visit the winery. Huge, neat and tidy it is. Primarily farming out Shiraz, you will only find Tempranillo as second bottled single grape wine. Cabernet Sauvignon and - surprisingly for me - Dornfelder grape are used for blended wines. As I am not into Shiraz, nor blended wines, choice for me is narrowed down quickly. Having tried... More

Thank you for taking the time to review PB Valley on TripAdvisor. We have noted your comments and like to inform that we have not alligned our prices to imported wines. As you alreday mentioned the problem is the taxes which are levied onto wines as they are considered a luxury item. Taxed at about 360% it is difficult to... More

Being Khao Yai's biggest winery, the service was at best average - you know its there but you don't see it. The food - not impressed, even with the pizza made on site. The wines were not outstanding, and at that price, perhaps we could have got a better vintage from other wineries. What was good? The sprawling grounds and... More

Thank you for taking the time to review PB Valley on TripAdvisor and thank you for your comments about the service and food which has been noted and relayed to the service and kitchen teams. As for the wines we have learned that Shiraz, even though it has won us many silver medals from international competitions, is a wine which... More

Since we visited around 10 am, we did not join the tour as it is too early to drink wine :) Our friends and I just walk around their grounds and took lovely pictures. There is a restaurant on its ground but we did not eat there, was told the food quality is good.

I had never thought of Thailand when it came to wine...new world wines are generally associated with Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and USA in my mind. I had been researching Shiraz trophy winners and came across a couple from the Khao Yai region of Thailand so decided next time I was in Bangkok I would check them out. First... More
