Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Museum Of Nantong its a good place to see and learn about the city, How was it in the past. They also have pottery photography and stuffed animal exhibition.
The garden is very nice! The bad thing was that some halls was closed.
Extra tip the summer time is better to go early in the morning to enjoy your walk on the garden and the lake.!

This museum is a free attraction in Nantong and offers a lovely overview of Nantong history. We whale museum was a bit underwhelming but I enjoyed the rest.

The museum is not so much one museum as it is a collection of many small to medium buildings featuring a number of galleries. In all, an hour or two is more than enough time to see most of the halls, but the landscaped grounds outside can easily take another hour or two should you enjoy a picnic here.
If you arrive in the early morning (7:30 to 8:30) you will find locals practicing Tai-chi, fan dances, fencing, and many other traditional Asian physical arts.
The museum is also very close to some great shopping streets and the Si Lu old street (not sure of the name). Right outside the main gate was an adorable cafe that served great coffee and sold a huge range of gifts and snacks....
The main exhibit halls looked to have been renovated very recently.

It's a free museum with nice info about the city. Some of the translations aren't that great, but it's a nice way to spend time if the weather isn't that good or just as a time filler.

This is actually an old museum from 1905, I really liked the old house of the owner and the old museum buildings.

This museum is basically the remnants of what may have been a cool museum. Everything inside is dark and closed down. You can still walk through, but all the interactive or electronic stations that would explain things are off.
