We cycled to these falls from our holiday cottage, Molly's cottage in Talybont on Usk. The car park was busy and the only place to lock our bikes to was a field fence. the paths are well worn and there are a few early falls visible as you walk uphill. We did make the mistake of following a path which... More

we parked at the lower car park and climbed up through the paths, make sure you have your hiking boots, so peaceful and the waterfalls are stunning, we camped in our camper overnight in the car park as well and was not disturbed or asked to move on :) x

Take the Brecon mountain railway to the final stop and walk over the hill towards the falls. Walk past the carpark and continue down the steep road to the lower carpark. From here you can walk back up the watercourse taking in every fall. Once it levels of slightly, bare left straight up a fence to a style which will... More

We parked in the lower car park and climbed the path through the woodland. It's steep but very peaceful and the waterfalls are a welcome site. If you feel like some exercise you can take the path on up the hill from the upper car park up onto the top of the Ridge. Some cracking views from the top and... More

Prior to visiting Blaen y Glyn we had stopped off at the falls near Ystradfelte and at Henrhyd falls, and as a result we can say that, in our opinion, Blaen y Glyn was by far the better location in terms of ease of access, length of route and sights to see – lost count of how many smaller falls... A narrow, twisting and dangerous road takes you to this location. Is the journey worth it ? I think not.

Very pretty. Lovely waterfalls with an enjoyable short walk - about 1 mile total. We had kids from 3 to 6 with us and they all managed ok.

These spectacular falls are well worth a visit but visitors should definitely come prepared for rough and potentially muddy terrain. We were very glad of both stout walking boots and gaiters when we visited after heavy rainfall! You can either park in the top car park and walk down a relatively well-laid path (though it breaks up into rocks near... More

Really pretty waterfalls. Lovely bridge. We had a sunny day, so all views were really great, and very photogenic. Would have expected to see more birds than we did. Also, did feel that a couple of wooden benches would have been nice too.

Did the waterfalls walk last Saturday after a couple of failed attempts to find where it was. It would be good if it was signposted for parking. After crossing bridge from bottom car park walk across bridge and over stile or gate a little further on this takes you up right hand side of river. At top fall I crossed... More
