It's on until this week at night fall, well worth it if you can get there, it depicts how NZ soldiers saved the town of Le Quesnoy in France.

Thanks for your feedback, yes it is on until the 11th November, as well as a display at the town plaza and art show in the town hall 11-3 daily.

Stop by to get your bearings and learn more about this quaint area. This is "horse" country in NZ and the landscape is gorgeous. You're not far from SO many other activities - check out your options! Plus the shops in Cambridge are great!

I picked up information brochures about Cambridge here. Two things I would recommend are the heritage walking trail and the Horseracing Hall of Fame Walk. Outside the I-Site you can find the Mare and Foal statues and then follow the race horse mosaics on the...More

Nice place to check out if you're a tourist. Sit on the horse, it makes a great photo!!! The wonderful scenic place to take photos, tourist or not.

The staff found us a very nice Homestay (Hawksview) that was a great value. They also provided good information on walking tours and sights in the area. Unfortunately, Hobbittown was only accepting tours three days out so we could not visit, but that was not...More
