Visited there today good variety of stalls both fresh produce and cooked food. Luigi's Gelati van won me with their delicious blood orange, husband had watermelon and stated delicious. Zed and Co won us for a bacon and egg roll, fresh, tasty and friendly stall owner. Bought bread and fruit tarts at bakery stall and they were a culinary delight to the taste buds.
So enjoyed drive from Ballarat to Talbot easy trip and would go again .Some street music added to atmosphere .Public toilets at park accessible and clean .

Wonderful country market. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the streets of Talbot and browsing the many stores and stalls. Lots of produce, new wares, and bric-a-brac to explore. Plus food trucks and wine.
The buildings of Talbot were stunning also.
We drove from Ballarat, and it was a short and scenic drive.
Highly recommend!
We can’t wait to head back next month.

This is a vibrant market taking up five central streets in this lovely gold era hamlet . A wide range of farmers market/craft and winery/brewers/bakers product is available. Parking can be a challenge so expect a far walk to the venue but it is well worth it. Be sure to drop in to Clunes on the way home for a coffee and cake.

Great market full of quality produce. Well priced considering quality. . Plenty of room to move in a casual, relaxed atmosphere Adequate parking all around market perimiters. Alittle more seating through market area for us wrinklies would be my only suggestion. Excellent!!.

Great morning Market on the third Sunday. Bit more expansive than typical farmers markets - great regional fare, chooks, plants and crafts etc. set in a small but interesting gold era town.
Take cash as its hard to get money here. Within striking distance of Castlemaine, Ballarat, Maldon, Maryborough and even Bendigo.
