There's enough reviews about this beautiful beach and its warm, calm water, and it is all true. We've been here before and always return to this beach if we want an easy day where we just sit in the warm ocean water and relax. My...More

The most beautiful beach I’ve seen so far. Sadly, not a lot of people likes to camp here. We were the only ones with a tent. The place is safe but it needs more illumination.

This is definitely one of the best beaches in PR with very calmed water. There are very good places to eat nearby.

Clean, calm, beautiful beach! You will want to come back many times! I love my Island! Easy to reach via highway & near the excellent "Kioscos" of Luquillo. Don't miss Monserrate Beach!

Very nice public beach. Very clean. Has a nice small store that sells pineapple drinks. Very small waves that my two year old could swim in with a small amount of help. A must if in the Luquillo area.

Expansive beach warm calm water. You could walk this beach to enjoy beautiful blue water and the soft sand under your feet.

Beach is clean, water perfect, it's protected by a reef so waves are never real big. Make sure you stay on THIS beach (parking is $5). If you wander further West there is beach area behind the row of Kiosks which is filthy with garbage....More

Quick access from San Juan, plenty of parking ($5.00 per car), showers and restroom facilities. Enjoy one of the nicest beach in the island with plenty of Palm trees for shade - walk along the beach for long stretches and dip into blue waters. A...More

Monserrate beach is a public beach, like all the beaches in the island, and is accesible at this time. Most of the kiosks have reopened by now, Palm trees are damage, but the beach is beautiful.

Yes but they are usually trying to clean up from the weekend. We got there around 9:30 on a Monday and it was still pretty dirty from the weekend.

Yes to both;however, this is the calmest beach I have ever seen so boogie boards may not get used much. Luquillo beach would be better for boogie boards.
