I visited this beach 2 times this year and it's an amazing place - the vibes, the little beach-side shops and the restaurants. The best part was that it was quiet both times I went....with only 10-20 families/pairs. The bar located near the parking lot...More

Love all the little shops. Really great little outside bars to sit and enjoy the scenery and people watch. Public washrooms centrally located. I do find the parking a little expensive. must go early to get a good spot. great beach!!!

As beaches go this one is tidy with free changing rooms and amenities. Parking is close by and is free after 7pm. 4 bucks per hour before.

Great beach with lots to do within walking distance. Good amenities right in the beach like a concession stand, changerooms and parking (it's a pay and display system)

The new structures they have put in place make it really nice. Rocky shore, but the water is simply beautiful! Would love a boardwalk -- would make it easier to walk along the beach!

Grand Bend is well known for its terrific beach. Quite large and sandy, with the lovely Lake Huron water. Plenty of pay parking at the beach or park on a side street for free. The beach is typically busy on weekends but you can always...More

We decided to go to Grand Bend in the afternoon on Canada Day to enjoy some beach time before the fireworks. We were really put off by the number of people smoking pot. There shouldn’t be smoking allowed at all let alone pot. I would...More

There's restaurants on the main strip, but I'm not sure if there are usable grills at the beach

Parking right down at the beach is $4/hr or $20/day max. If you park on the street towards town it is $2/hr. Wherever you park it's "Pay&Display"...you have to buy your ticket at the kiosk and place in your window dash.
