This is an amazing train trip along the lake, seeing bears on the tracks, great views. On Fridays you can go from Lillooet and return the same day, or any other day and stay overnight at Seton Portage. What a great secret bargain.

I don't know. We couldn't get on ourselves, despite booking well ahead, but maybe a dog would have more luck. Come to think of it, the dog would probably be allowed on but its human companions would be left behind on the platform. Give your dog a camera and it can show you the photos when it gets back. The whole "system" was a shambles.
