While the extensive awnings keep the wind at bay in this exposed location and are good for satisfying my architectural leanings the food and drink here is good too

Popped into the station cafe after a walk and was not disappointed. Ordered a panini and a juice and was very tasty. Don't take cards, cash only so be prepared with money as we managed to scrape the money together. Very cheap and nice place...More

Established in 1908, this traditional/ well stocked older man's type bar is welcoming comfy, clean and cosy and worth a visit when in the area, appears to be well patronised by the locals. Has some interesting photos on the walls of liners that have sailed...More

I visited the Station cafe when waiting for the next ferry to Bute, I had a mug of tea and two huge bacon rolls, served but a very pleasant young man

Stopped for a coffee and a bacon roll while waiting for ferry to Isle of Bute. Good value, nice coffee, friendly service - forgot my bacon roll, all good after reminder. Dogs allowed in on lead.

Opens 730am until 4pm, Mon to Sat and 830am until 4pm on Sundays. I think last orders for meals is 330pm. Hope this helps
